A more accurate summary of the first wave would be "We, a select few upper class white women, demand the voting rights that only a minority of men actually enjoy, but without the concurrent obligation to serve militarily if/when war next occurs. And by the way, we really don't care if poorer or less white women get the vote, just us."

Hope I don't get banned for this but 1st and 2nd wave feminism was ok - 1st wave was winning the vote - 2nd wave was contraception pill and the right to equal wages (I'm sure we agree they should be allowed to vote and have contraception)

Its 3rd wave that's the one with the big issues.
