Not from a blue pilled.

I honestly did not expect r/prequelmemes to leak into this sub

He's a married cuck himself.

Dont knock the older generation for not taking his advice. Anyone born pretty much before 1983 has a much lower chance of applying mgtow. It was just a different time. Millenials are the first generation without an excuse, but guys like Burr, Chris Rock, and Rogan all know mgtow but just couldn't quite apply it. They're a mix of being way before their time...while stuck in it.

older here, took 20 years of marriage and subsequent separation and divorce to go my own way like I was doing in my 20s (for the most part). I fell into the family/society pressure to get married as my life was emotionally empty PnD'ing thots
the ones that make me smh are those who marry / divorce more than once...fits the definition of insanity IMO.

The caveat - Its better to learn from other people's mistakes.
[–]jrpark059 points10 points11 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Otto von Bismarck said "a wise man learns from the mistakes of others".

Why do you call him "a legend" for saying a few smart things, then doing something stupid, then going back on his earlier advice and attacking mgtow?
[–]ChantingMonk5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
He's just pandering to his target audience. Don't get me wrong, I love Bill's comedy and have been following him since the early 2000s when he was still on the come up but the dude is just trying to get his. This is all part of the hypocritical process when it comes to being successful in the entertainment industry. Bill was one of the "little people comedians" that could relate to guys who have been hurt and don't trust women. Similar to Sam Kinison minus the coke addiction. Once you get a taste of success, taste of women throwing themselves at you, your philosophy as "the person who can relate to the common man" goes out the window. Bill has talked about how he "would drag women by the hair across NYC and no one would bat an eye" to now begging his wife to be on his podcast while he's recording it. Has he grown as a person or just enjoying the fruits of his labor now that he's successful? I don't know, just my observation.

Why is it every time someone is a complete gynocentrist, there are poeple like you trying to explain that it's all a goof?
[–]ChantingMonk0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I wouldn't say Bill is a gynocentrist because if he was, then all his material would be pro women, which it obviously isn't. All I'm saying is that Bill is in the entertainment industry and to have maximum "likeablilty" in comedy, you gotta take stabs at both genders. "Make it even" if that makes sense. In the end, Bill is gonna do/say whatever he can to put food on the table and keep the lights on. As a man, I respect that. He may flip flop, he may be a complete cuck now but the guy's philosophy is sound (minus his anger issues).

I don’t think he is a legend, to me he’s a idiot who didn’t apply his own knowledge to himself.

Some good truth.

This quote never gets old. I love seeing it repeatedly. I'm hoping everyone internalizes it, lives their lives for themselves and not others.
Peace, everyone.

Legend?? Ahahahahahaha...So nowadays legend is someone that says common sense stuff (especially to a red pilled man) but then does the opposite. What a legend 😂
[–]depth_charger[S] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Bummer...you are right! 😆
In Bill's defence...atleast he was a decent comic relief (so what if the joke was on him when it came to marriage!)
[–]Supremedis 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
He is the legend bro.
[–]molten-goggles 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Every time a quote of his gets posted here and he's call a "legend" it kinda makes me sick. He's not a legend. I love the guy but he couldn't even follow the words that came out of his mouth.

Tee hee. I sleep on a futon on the floor. It's great for my back.
[–]Sword-of-Ancestors 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
"but for some reason you married"
LOL - that means that good reason even does not exist

[–]rainydayman15 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I had a futon for my living room for years till I got a house, thing was comfy as hell, I now have an even more comfy sofa that is way better for naps but I would still have a futon if i had less space to fill.
