Don't be afraid of "growing old alone" or doing things by yourself. That's feminine bullshit. Men can be self sufficient. I've actually noticed many men become more "lone wolfs" as they get older and now that I'm starting to age I can see why.

Not to mention, people can and will turn on you, abandon you, etc. This increases greatly when you're dealing with women, who are even more emotional and fickle compared to men. Which is why any man who really thinks that a woman will stick by him for the rest of his life and that marriage is a good investment is an idiot.

When you go your own way, none of this will surprise you or even bother you. I'm not saying that you should be a loner or hermit or whatever. What I am saying is that you have yourself to depend on, and that's all that should matter.
