Every good once in awhile whilst perusing Red Pill articles, I'll stumble across a comment that goes something like this; "Just know that if you don't pass genetic material on you're a loser."

Lets first dissect why this is bullshit and has nothing to do with being "Alpha."

1) Having a child is much more than simply "passing on genes." Its a fucking lifetime commitment. One that requires altering your lifestyle for 18 years at a bare minimum. Lets not even begin to dig into the financial implications of raising a child. A healthy child requires two committed parents and a loving environment, otherwise you're throwing another lemming into the world.

2) Plenty of "Alpha" males have lived their lives without ever having a child to speak of. Look no further than Wilt Chamberlain, a man who apparently took more than 20,000 women to bed.

I will summarize this short and succinct post by saying this: Don't let your fucking ego get in the way of making sound and rational decisions regarding procreation. If you think anyone gives a fuck about you or your kids when you're gone....think again. A child should ONLY be seriously considered if that is what you absolutely want to do and you have the resources to raise the kid correctly. Please leave aside outliers and rags to riches stories where someone rises from the ashes, I'm speaking to logic here, not luck.

Cheers.

EDIT: I'm not anti-children, the point of the post is to make sure people are thinking critically about children, they're not trophies and show pieces.
