Shutting this turd-stir down. Normally we give three day bans to people that comment in asktrp posts, but I realize there was a whole lot of autism to wade through to get to the question. I'm granting a general amnesty--except for OP, of course. Sixty days in the cooler.

All of this would be answered if you read more instead of wasting time posting shit

Sorry, I'm having much more fun just being myself and actually working on improving myself in every way possible, which is why I came for a summary.

I'm not going to focus on a single aspect in life.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Fast forward 9 months later, after not being in contact for 3 months once, and then another 3 months, we now talk to each other pretty frequently, I asked her out, got rejected,

All you told us supports RP theory (with the part I quote standing out).

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Thought I'd have nothing to lose, lost nothing.

It doesn't explain how she didn't go for the obvious better options she had her entire life, having only 2 boyfriends, both of whom were called ugly by all but she saw as pretty, and instead of keeping on going and reaping the benefits she decided to part ways and live alone in a small apartment because she was much happier that way.

Wouldn't this kind of women be better off dating someone as high status in both personality and looks as her, and be lazy, rather than volunteer to shelters and donate hair to cancer, while working hard 14 hours a day and living alone, while also helping me and many others throughout the day?

She knows she can, yet she doesn't, because it "doesn't interest her". She knows she's capable, she was forced to know that, if that makes sense.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

1) I don't feel I have the right to throw my cynicism at you. Certainly, I wouldn't take any pleasure from doing that.

2) "dating someone as high status in both personality and looks as he"

Are you sure she has what it takes to attract them? She "sounds" like a high-testosterone woman, and they don't attract men (specially high-status) a lot.

You see those bfs were "called ugly" by everyone, know what it means? That they were Low Status (ugly people with high status would not be called ugly by "all", no way).

3) TRP doesn't say that every female on earth is an agent of malice a sower of destruction and an ATM-vampire. It's a broader, and more nuanced theory.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Are you sure she has what it takes to attract them? She "sounds" like a high-testosterone woman, and they don't attract men (specially high-status) a lot.

She got constantly hit on, and people kept saying that she was "drying them" (slang for trying to be boring) because of that so they would lose attraction and stop nagging her. She had options, a stupid amount I might say, you could see it from a mile, and people kept gossiping about that. When she had a boyfriend, I didn't bother making advances, and people were dumbfounded that I was yet to try and kept saying "you'll get your chance" (or, I now know that these people exist and simply get out there and search someone for myself because now I'm actually interested in trying?).

Once, when she was leaving the army, I happened to meet her after a couple of weeks after I got relocated to a different base, she ran up to the car, grabbed me by the arm, greeted me (with her loud extroverted attitude), and then we parted ways. The soldiers in the passenger seats (we were both drivers in the army... shit, this only increases your argument of her having high test, no?) who were part of the squad were fucking shocked with their eyes out and mouths wide open:

SFC (who happened to hit on her a while ago): "Dude, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?! where the fuck do you know her from?!" Medic: "Is she... your girlfriend? Lover!? Wow she's beautiful! Damn dude, congratulations!"

I kept reassuring them she was just a friend, the medic kept calling her my lover from then on, the SFC was salty from her reaction to seeing me because she rejected him when he tried to hit on her, and he thought we had something going on, I guess.

So, that's that, any theories?

No, I have no idea what I do that people connect to me that much, I'll just take it.

P.S. Second crush is almost a carbon copy of the first crush, if that's of any help, lol.

[–]En-Zu4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Not understanding exactly how your two personal experiences of 1. A couple who are both apparently on the spectrum. 2. A girl you thought was nice but she rejected you because you're a beta.

As for number 2, kudos to you for not being a "nice guy" and thinking being nice to this girl entitles you to sex and being a bitter incel about it.

However, the very fact that she rejected you is proof enough of what this sub is about. Girls can be nice. I have friends that are girls. I've had ex-girlfriends I've thought were fantastic people. This sub isn't just a forum for rampant misogyny. It's just about the fact that girls, just like guys, tend to follow certain rules when they're choosing a mate. This sub lets you know the rules, and the sidebar really is worth reading for that.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

In 1, the girl can do much, MUCH better, if he sees this, sorry, but it's obviously they are both in love. She doesn't look like him, and she gains nothing that she wouldn't gain by being with someone else, that's all I'm saying. She isn't as unhealthy looking as him, he eats A LOT, no proper hygiene, etc, she could if she wanted, it doesn't seem she wants to, what reason could there be?

  1. I've had 2 crushes my entire life, and they're all >PEOPLE< (because I'm attracted to this kind of personality, which I think I should mention) who are extremely emotionally powerful, and extroverted. I guess it's the feeling that they're acting so freely is what makes me feel free and actually get attracted to them. I'm not attracted to the women that act cute and generic. So... me being an outlier, it makes me feel weird that the RP exists because I feel like I'm being told to be something I'm not.

I didn't ask her out because she was being nice to me, but because her overall personality is what lead her to being nice to me. 20 years and I didn't believe such a person exists, that's all. So she was kind of an outlier to me as well, because I thought I met every type of person possible, which means I almost lost hope of ever becoming social.

Now, I can finally earn friends again, don't hide my smile, feel like I can make someone out of myself and regained hope that not every human is just a brain washed with random chemicals at different intervals. Well, we could still be, but the point is, is that I embraced that idea, and I either think "eh, their choice" or, "eh, their chemicals", it makes me extremely empathetic and productive toward improving everything that surrounds me, because I never think of things as "at fault", but instead, just misguided, or with the wrong chemicals being applied.

Thank you for this reply. This is what I wanted and expected, and it's what brings me closer toward closure where I'll just be myself and do whatever comes to my mind, rather than be held back by doubt.

At some level, RP theory isn't that complicated and I think that's the level you can agree with. Lift weights, look good, be confident, etc. These are the things >people< are attracted to, like you say.

What RP theory does is it kind of does an ultra parody of the things every woman wants and mechanically applies them like women have no agency in the equation. If you are alpha enough then there's no woman that you can't have. While this is empowering at some level because it removes all the randomness from love and all the mysterious personal preference, you're right that on its face it seems reductionistic.

The red pill perspective is entirely UN-romantic in that it believes there are no unique properties in men or women. Romance is brain chemistry, like you say, where positive, masculine traits are added up by the female mind to equal attraction and vice versa.

You may disagree with this, but in each person, at some level, it's true. And focusing on yourself and the acquisition of positive traits (that this approach necessarily encourages) works.

I say that this is true because, as social animals, we're not actually that complex with the company we keep. Any other people will generally suffice. What I've noticed when people get older is that they stop having a "type." You can learn to get along with anyone and you're kind of naturally inclined by the familiarity effect to "love" people.

Since "love" is a given due to exposure and "types" don't really matter to mature people, all that really matters is "getting in the door." Or the back-door, if you prefer. And Red Pill gives you the tools to do that.

Damn it, linked a sub because it banned me for posting here as an example to what I meant.

What I meant to say is that this what exactly what I needed, and that if all posts were as constructive as this it would probably make TRP appear in a more positive light, unfortunately, it always ends up in nonsense since people don't want to listen to the end, eh, whatever.

Thank you.

Edit: By >People< I mean't the personality type, and that it didn't matter whether or not it was a woman or a man that act the way she acts, the fact that women are also classified as people was not my intention in that remark. :P

[–]En-Zu0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Open mindedness and the ability to dialogue in constructive and meaningful ways is only lacking in TRP to the extent that it's lacking in the rest of the world and in any "movement." TRP is just aggressive about it haha.

1) People in love unconsciously expect they can't do any better - "this one is the perfect fit for me". They are glad they've found somebody as low as themselves. If (when) the power dynamic shifts the relationship will fall apart one way or another (someone will dump the other).

2) A woman is a mother AND a whore. She's kind of playing with you as a mother with HER 3 y.o. kid.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

A completely developed woman would be her mate's whore + mother + sister (and daughter too, a bit).

But all one can do is visualize such a unicorn in his dreams. Outer reality doesn't provide us what our deep psyche (wishing to return to early childhood's bliss) as an appetite for.

We've gotta re-create all on our own that paradisal initial emotional state.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

1) She was constantly hit on in the IDF, where we both served, I find it hard to believe that the unconscious thought is this strong.

She was a model who was interviewed multiple times, she knows she can do better, she wasn't interested.

2) This seems more like a statement or an opinion that won't be changed, so alright, I'll just keep that in mind. She's far from a mother to me though, although maybe back then you'd probably be right.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Why do people adopt the ugliest dog in the home? It's kinda cute in a way.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That does not explain the major change in me though, and me being better now.

Why not get the better dog and manipulate it to be the same as any other dog you want to get?

You say go for the worst option for the benefits, but the better options can have even better benefits if you know what you're doing, and if you don't, well, try harder, as easy as that, no need to settle.

I forgot to mention, yes, socially awkward, inept, and with social anxiety, but also, I'll fuck your shit up if you go against ethics, I'm not a doormat, don't worry about that.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Autism, nuff said.

And i haven't said anything that you're claiming i said, and i haven't read anywhere on TRP the same claims. I never knew psychiatric homes gave there patients internet access

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Missed the part where I am practically a normal functioning human now?

I got my shit fucked up in kindergarten, it's all much better now.

I just assumed you meant adopting the ugliest dog as in being sorry for him and reaping the benefits of having a dog.

"Wouldn't it be a lot more RP to... never use RP to improve one self?

Would it be more RP to follow RP, or would it be less RP to follow RP because it means I am easily affected by others?"

---> You have very little actual life experiences, and most of your thoughts about what "the red pill" or "sexual dynamics" or "value" is has been formed by reading reddit (which is 90% fanfiction, really) and these 1-2 experiences with women.

You need to go out into the real world and not worry about forming opinions. Think about it this way - you can't just form your world view based on the one horse town you were born in. Now as a beta with very low female experience (and very low exposure to actually successful RP or BP males), you are trying to form grandiose conclusions about how the world works. Problem is, you have minor anecdotal evidence. You don't know what you don't know.

You spend your formative years "Socially awkward, inept, anxiety, 16 years of mental help, constant thoughts of suicide, terrible intrusive thoughts, 21 year old kissless virgin, shy". So what this means is you missed on out about a decade of life experiences and social experiences and learning about stuff like female behavior, social behavior, group behavior, value, attraction, validation / approval, etc.

Does this make sense? You've got a few years of actually learning how to be more alpha - not even "alpha", just less beta - and seeing the world through an alpha lens. Then you will be able to form your own valid conclusions on TRP. Until then, it's all just imagination and fanfiction. When you are low value and introverted and depressed, you literally are not seeing the world as it is, you are seeing it through a lens you have constructed. It's not "reality" - it's fantasy, which is what the concept of the BP is all about.

This is why your post is so rambling and incohesive, there's no foundation of actually knowing yourself or knowing reality. That has to be earned. If you form your world view now, you'll be fucked. Go out in the world and act. For example, I didn't really understand the value of money or careers until I had been working 5 years. I didn't understand women really until my 30th bitch or so, whereas on my 4th girl I thought I had it all figured out and no one could tell me shit. You see? You need to not worry about contemplating and forming grandiose conclusions - just focus on gaining reference experiences.

Damn, practically destroyed me, in a good way, of course.

...fuck...

Thank you, a lot, holy shit.

So, here's my critique of your approach OP:

  1. I've noticed that a lot of TRP is echo chamber-ish. There's a lot of folks here that spend their time trying to confirm the theory. But, Karl Popper 101 is that science, and knowledge/wisdom in general, is done through falsification. So, kudos there! I think this is the right approach. If TRP's philosophy is a house and not a sand castle, it'll withstand criticism.

  2. The weakness here is you've failed to define TRP's axioms in such a way that they can be tested/disproven. There's just a vague notion of what TRP is about, what a Beta is, and what an Alpha is.

  3. To expand on point 2, you only use a couple of personal examples/circumstantial evidence. For some of TRP's claims, AWALT most notably, only one counterexample will disprove the claim, as it's a universal claim. Other claims are not so precise, and may just be a general rule or even a comparison of what women generally do compared to men.

In conclusion, I think trying to disprove RP is the correct thing to do, but your evidence is very circumstantial and ill-defined. I encourage you to increase your understanding of RP, to better define these principles, and then to go put them to the test.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thank you.

I'm just starting my life, if that makes sense, after a couple months of therapy, so I'm getting to experience a bit more and gather my own understanding of the world.

At any rate, thanks, upvoted (like many other that were actually helpful here), and noted.
