Here's what I'll never understand about betas. Even in my most beta days I knew this one: if you have to beg a woman to marry you, you're doing it wrong. She should be the one pestering for that commitment because she's the only one to gain from it.

It's interesting to hear the insights of women, when asking them their thoughts on not buying a ring.

Rather putting that sizable amount of money towards a down payment on a property.

There are a handful that begin to agree with the logical financial choice, but it's a clear indication of what someone's priority is when discussing the business contract called "marriage".

Just heard a radio ad today for a group of accountants/financial advisers specialising in helping people get out of debt. First thing they gave as a reason for debt was recent divorce. If somebody (the man obviously) is forced so far into debt because of divorce, that in itself is a damn huge problem. We know it happens. Nobody should get to break a contract and they be the ones to benefit from it; and not just benefit but totally thrive while somebody else balances on the fine line of homelessness or sleeping on a mattress on the floor eating hotdogs, kraft dinner and ramen

There statistics don't lie but they don't need to be hidden either. Knowing that x% of marriages are demanded by women and that 70% of divorce filers are the same gender is important.
