Same thing happened with me my X tried to bully me into paying for stuff after the payments got lowered, most common items were shoes and coats she would make a big deal Infront of the kids and try to shame me but I never gave her a penny extra.

If a man tells a judge he wants equal or full custody then nobody should pay anything right?

I mean even with joint custody why would a man pay the woman?

Now that it’s locked in for 3 years I got my almost 6 figure pay raise at my job. Think I’m going to enjoy some nice cold beer after work in peace and quiet as I game on my gaming rig.

My child’s mom started to go down this road, until she ran the numbers...also, she realized that if everything goes through the courts, there would be no side help if she needed it. I always wanted to provide for my kid, so bringing the courts in really made it more difficult, as I had to pay the state, then the state paid her. Ultimately I got custody and it all worked out, but it was painful to that point.
