I definitely believe this. After being on tinder so long, professional pictures, looking ripped(competitive bodybuilder), dressed well in casual and nicer clothes, funny unique summary that leaves some mystery to easily hook someone, etc. I know I had one weak point, a foreign arabic name.

I believe this has more to do with evolution, women must date superior men I'm order for the species to thrive, they are the ones that decide which genes get carried out to the next generation.
So basically, they search for traits proper of an alpha male, masculine body and face, Intelligence, social status, etc..
Be thankful to the universe that women work like this because if this was otherwise humanity would still be playing with rocks.
The culture is based around this, that's why they tell them to strive for the best. It just comes in their genes.
