Before I begin, if you're one of those MGTOWs who believes that having a relationship and/or marriage is "not real MGTOW" please do everyone a favor and keep scrolling. However, if you are of that mindset, but seek knowledge and have questions, I will gladly engage in civil discussion.

I am a married MGTOW. Yes, it seems like a paradox at first, but really MGTOW in of itself is a paradox. If we truly are "going our own way" that means we figure out what that means for us personally and are not preoccupied to check off the boxes of approval from the group mentality. I've contemplated this story for a while now and I feel the time is right to share and discuss. At the end of this I hope that where I am at in life brings hope for our future, but also understand that I am not trying to convince anyone to change their life choices. I'm just sharing my story.

I first came to MGTOW like most of you. Typical head over stupid for someone and then slowly realizing I was being used and possibly taken advantage of, but also blue pilled obsessed... yeah... So I came here after a friend showed me... well actually I started seriously coming here months after that. I thought this group was a bunch of angry virgins until I started watching some of the videos and realizing that this wasn't a group... it was an idea.

Low and behold, after my heartbreak I met my Unicorn. She didn't seem to hide anything about herself from me. She had been on the CC as most women have been theses days. It was brought upon by a bad relationship of her own. I'm not going to get specifically into her details as this is more about be, but she wasn't untruthful about her past and I respected that. I didn't particularly like it, but she was straight forward and that was a good sign.

We went on our first date. I bought dinner. She bought a movie. Our incomes were different so I felt it only fair to adjust the expenses accordingly, however she did pay for a portion of the date. It was enjoyable. I realized that this woman and I may actually end up together.

Why? Well... you know that feeling you get with a girl you're "madly in love with"? You can't control your emotions. You'll do anything for them like the beta bitch you are cause you think it's love... literally not the case with this woman. In fact, it was more the opposite. She brought peace and calm to my chaotic mind something I had never experienced with another woman. And it wasn't anything she said or did, it was just her presence. I knew she was special.

We dated for about a year. My job involved a lot of travel and time away from home. She was loyal to me the entire time and didn't complain outside of my own complaints about having to be separated. We decided to get married as it was beneficial financially. One weekend, I got a surprise three days off and decided to head home (she lived in a different state from the one I worked), but I decided to surprise her. She actually was scared half to death because I arrived in the middle of the night, but no one else was there. That to me was as good a test of trust as I think one can get. Before I even went inside, I pulled up to the driveway and thought for a second about what I was going to do if I found another man in my bed... was glad to have not.

Today we're finally in a place where we can live together full time. She does wifely things like cook and clean. We've had our differences from time, but overall our marriage is good. I've realized mentally she helps me considerably, especially through hard times. And it's not even with anything she necessarily says or does, it's just being there. Maybe I'm a blue pilled simp, cuck, whatever. I know and accept that I probably could never make it alone. When I was alone, I was erratic and not having a care in the world if I lived or died. Now I feel I have purpose. I have purpose for myself, but also someone else. Sometimes on my depressed days she helps keep me going and I her. I have been slowly explaining to her what MGTOW is and she's starting to understand. We also talk about things like divorce and cheating because it is a reality in our society. We haven't made that stupid promise of "we'll never do x" because that's like challenging life to put you in a situation where you will. Neither of us intends to be disloyal, however I won't be surprised if it happens.

As I said, my intention is to share my story and give hope. I'm open to opinions and discussion, but if you're going to straight up call me names, you're more than welcome to waste your time and be promptly ignored. Criticism with purpose, however will be considered. I'm going my own way in my own way with someone who sees our marriage as it's supposed to be: a team effort. I hope for our sake things work out in the long run. I hope for our society that feminism as cast aside and nuclear families become the endgame once again. Otherwise, I'll just hunker down where I'm at with my wife and start my own society after the collapse.
