I got the answer -2.98... with endless decimals using numerical integration in a Microsoft Excel sheet.

An integral is just the area under the curve. The problem can be broken up into rectangles of 0.001 width, for example. The sum of these rectangles is an approximation of the problem.

Why's he not integrating the denominator. Is the pin the integral of the top between 0 and 1 times (x² -3x +2)^-1/2 or are we supposed to integrate it all get the modulus value times by 1,000 and get the integer value. He really needs to learn how to write mathematically.
