I'm only looking forward to seeing Captain Marvel in the next Avengers movie. That's it. This actual "stand-alone" origin story sounds like it's just going to be the feminist version of Black Panther. And don't get me wrong - Black Panther was alright and all, but you didn't have to watch it to understand Infinity Wars. Just like how you didn't need to watch Wonder Woman to understand Justice League. Thing is... I hated Wonder Woman. And I keep getting the same vibes from this movie.
