I also had an extremely toxic nuclear family. My known sociopath sister was the golden goose that laid the grandchildren eggs, with that, all is forgiven. It took me a couple of years of observations /reflection & to decide what was best for me. I simply faded back, no drama, cut 100% ties & have kept my sanity. This way I am not involved & they can tear each other apart.

One time I took my car out and tbh I didn't have my license at the time. She caught me and she went absolutely mental. So mental in fact that she blew it completely out of proportion and started threatening to call the police on me.

I argued with her saying that "we're family and we sort out our problems with each other, we don't involve other people let alone the police that's a complete betrayal." But ofc this crazy bitch's lid flew off and she started calling the police anyway.

I took the phone off of her because she's weak obviously lol. She then starts screaming like a maniac getting my little brother to call the police and claim that I assaulted her when all I did was pull the phone out of her head.

The police ended up coming and this bitch was still mental, luckily my sister didn't tell them that I took two car, only that I was causing a disturbance. I argued my point and lo' and behold the police were on my side. I told my sister that I'd never forgive her for this, that she betrayed all of us and that she's a mental bitch.

2 years later I saw her again and she tried to be buddy-buddy with me. I told her that I still haven't forgiven her she tried to say "for what?" I was like "for calling the police on me and almost ruining my life" she said "oh I was going through some problems and I'm sorry I projected them onto you." Spat on her feet and walked off.

Dude, Adoptee here. Adoptive sister who is a crackhead and not biologically related to me got ghosted over 20 years ago. I look forward to her death from an overdose and truly hope it's is long and incredibly painful. Found my birth Mother. She is incredible and very loving. Uncles are all butthurt and shitty to me. Fuck them. I refuse to speak to those assholes and when Mom passes away, I will be a ghost. Life is far too short to waste on assholes.

It happenned with my older brother. He was always talking down on me since forever. Then when I was 23, he was 28, he just had his first house and his first kid with his wife. I don't remember all what he said, I just remember how disrespecful he was to me, trying to belittle me I was just doing my degree at that time and he supposedly accomplished so much. I thought, I come to visit him, taking time off my studies, and thats how he treats me? I haven't talked to him since. That was 10 years ago.

My father tried to make me contact him again. I had to cut him off too.

Couple of years ago my wife walked out 'because' - my crime was sending her on vacation while my son and I busted ass to build a new house - 80 days straight of work living in a tent while I sent her on vacation so she didn't have to work.

When my mother and my sisters found out we were splitting up, it was my fault for 'traumatizing' her for building a house in the countryside - and they promptly hopped on a airplane to go visit her and support her in her time of need. I also have a mega blue billed simp of a brother who has been jealous of me all his life who has never done a decent thing for me since we were probably 10 years old.

Fuck that shit, man - last fucking straw. I told them all they could go fuck themselves and to never ever contact me again.

As an older guy something I have come to realize - you grow up with this family full of people who don't really like you very much - forget about loving you like a real family should. For the most part I just put up with it because I never really saw them much lived on the other side of the country etc. But in the end, just what is the fucking point of having these idiots in my life ? They don't like me, they completely supported the traitor who destroyed my family because 'feeelllzzzz'.

Fuck that.

You cross the line, I will fucking nuke the bridge behind you forever - you get extra points because we grew up together but life's too short to pretend you didn't just stab me in the fucking back.

Oh and what a shocker - it was the WOMEN in my family that turned out to be the biggest most traitorous cunts of all.

Yes, had to do this with my mom which really sucked. She was like your sister without the nice parts, and I couldn't take it any more My Dad just placated her, which was big part of problem. Either way I don't regret it. No more screaming banshee calls and visits filled with verbal abuse and head games

Yes, one of my brothers. I got tired of him being such a narcissistic prick with me over many years. Not towards any of the other siblings, just me. I finally blocked his number and have had nothing to do with him for several years now. It was like a weight lifted off of my shoulders. I had an overweight pig of an aunt who treated me horribly as a kid for no reason aside from her own lack of intellect (she was literally a mouth-breather, pronounced the word 'coat' as 'coke', I could go on lmao). She was a true piece of shit. At any rate she dies suddenly, too suddenly and too conveniently, as I'd learned from other distant relatives that her husband had a little piece of side ass in a small town close to them. Curious, I spoke to the police department in NJ, where the cow 'died', and long story short there were tons of discrepancies in what the 'grieving husband' told the family and what the police reports said (no one else bothered to look into anything, thankfully). The guy, with help from his RN sister and her access to certain drugs, apparently killed her and set the scene to look like a sudden death from an asthma attack. His sisters swarmed in and claimed every expensive purse, coat ('coke') and piece of jewelry this cow had. I called the husband a few years later and stunned him by commenting how lucky he was, how 'things worked out for the best for him and his little secret girlfriend', who became his wife within a year of the pig bitch's funeral. He was speechless. Meanwhile the cow aunt appeared to my other aunt in a dream and asked her why no one was questioning this, she claimed (I don't believe in an afterlife but thought this was funny). The bitch was murdered and I, the kid she treated so bad, was the only one who looked deep enough into it to see a bit of evidence. And I wouldn't lift a finger to do a goddamned thing, fuck the bitch.

I had to cut off my sister to minimal contact. She is borderline and would always get preferential treatment from my parents. It's showed me early on that women aren't the more compassionate, gentle sex as they are claimed to be.
