I've seen it go the other way. Girl gets alpha-widowed hard and becomes a feminist.

The ones who go full spectrum I've personally witness were usually dating a financially-successful-Chad who dumps her as she approaches 30. He usually gets with the ten year younger version and her meal ticket is gone. I sometimes feel for the woman as she has dedicated herself to the man but we all know if he wasn't financially-successful-Chad she'd be cheating on Beta-Bob with a Chad.
