Was dating a girl who told me how she tried to kill herself after she got hooked on drugs. I felt horrible for her and had an instant urge to protect her and make her happy. I call bogus.

This is a story fabricated for the expressed purpose of showing that men who get suspicious when their girlfriends talk about their rapes have no right to keep their distance.

The language used to describe him is just too contrived to be credible. And it's all contradicted by her thought that "I don't know if i could see him the same way again."

Women who are actually falling out of love with a man won't call him "tall, muscular, blonde with blue eyes...also really dominant...very smart, funny...you get it. I like him."

They will say:

"I don't know what I saw in him, really. People say he's good looking, smart, and funny, but they don't know the truth. It is all a facade to hide a selfish, insecure, eleven-year old boy who is so pathetic, I had to endure five months of hell."

Women also could care less about what a man like that suffered...sexually or not, provided it isn't interfering with his ability to make her look good in public.

What a woman would really say is something like this:

"What you may not know is that this man is actually a victim of rape by his stepbrother, and it haunts him...a lot. So many nights, I had to build him back up, console him, and take care of him. Instead, this message was crafted (from a man or woman, I don't know) to show how men, when they break up with women, are heartless jerks. Because men are becoming increasingly suspicious of women who are behaving unlovingly, and referring to 'rape trauma' as the reason for their unloving behavior.
