Women bring the "pink tax" on themselves, IF it does exist. A 3rd grader in an economics class can tell you what supply and demand is. It's more expensive for women because, naturally, they're more concerned about physical appearance benefits instead of practical use.

For example, with the Gillette razors, my super market is doing a "Buy 2 get 2 free" to get rid of them because nobody's been buying them. Things in high demand have higher costs.

But no, just because a woman's shampoo costs $1 more than a man's, she wants to act like the patriarchy has a hidden advantage they aren't sharing.

Protip: you don't actually need shampoo. If you have dandruff, sebderm, or worse, it's probably CAUSED by shampoo.

Shampoo literally removes the oil from your hair, which your scalp then notices is gone and starts going into overdrive to replace it, making your hair oily.

I reversed my hairloss, got rid of most of my scalp sebderm and hardly ever have oily hair nowadays by simply going down to a couple to no shampoo sessions a month.

This probably doesn't work for everyone, but for those out there trying all kinds of different shampoos trying to find "the one", consider no shampoo at all for a while. Just water or maybe shampoo once a week max.

For real tho, women's shampoo and conditioner is the good stuff, well worth the money depending on brand. I'll never go back to using that dish soap in the bottom pic.

It's so true. I am all about using the right tool for the job, but cleaning my body with 8 different soaps is ludicrous and I just don't gaf. All I want is to feel clean after a shower. I could care less about what it does for my skin or my aura or whatever bullshit they claim. If it smells good it's done. I barely use conditioner anymore.

So if you're buying a shampoo for $5 when there's another brand for $3 with the same active ingredient, you're screwing yourself out of $2, every time.

Dr. Bronner's 18-in-1 pure castile soap. No shit, I use it for all the above. Also works great for washing the dog and doing laundry. I've even used it as toothpaste in a pinch.

Dr. Bronner's liquid soap is the best soap, and has multiple uses. Expensive per bottle ($12 at Trader Joe's for the largest bottle), but a little goes a long way, you'll only have to replace it every couple months or so.
