IMO, if you're still in college you're still very young. Plenty of time to get things in order so don't let anything that you've struggled with drag you down. I also got an Engineering degree and I didn't get into serious relationships with women until my late 20s / early 30s. It's not like I missed anything as I was with women who were 18-20 years old. When you're in your early 20s and trying to get women in the same age group as you, you need to compete against men who have had 10+ more years than you to get their shit together, buy a nice car, house, get promotions, secure a steady job, have a good salary, etc.. That's how it works. I also felt like it was damn near impossible to get the attention of women in the same age group as me when i was 18-24 years old, the reasons are obvious and clear to me now. but it wasn't when i was in your shoes.

I used to date a girl and have to drop her off at the dorm in the college. Literally the same college I went to 10 years prior.

Women that approach men and put on a nice act are usually worse than women that wait for men to approach them. Women that heavily pursue are usually very chameleon-like, need a relationship, and can't keep a relationship or don't get enough attention (i.e. they are crazy).

Definitely tough on the tail end of the iq distribution. 10 to 1, 100 to 1 sex ratios far out in the tail. Hard to find a peer in the opposite sex that far out. One that adds value and is worth all the trouble?
