why? the war on drugs has never worked, it only serves to destroy lives and waste tax payer money.
drugs only hurt the user, and if you want to say it funds crime, thats only because its illegal in the first place, much like in prohibition 1.0 (war on drugs is 2.0 btw) the demand never went away, instead the market was driven underground and instead of the money going to wholesome businesses it funded AND empowered mafia. (now its street gangs instead of the mafia)
we could on a large scale effect major social change just by doing away with the war on drugs, that and a major reform/overhaul or possible complete abolishment of welfare.

would be for legalization through any process. full disclosure not a user and never have been.
way i see it, war on drugs only costs the people, in term of tax and resources spent on perpetuating it and to the individuals who are given felonys for non violent crimes.
for a crime that only victimizes the user, much to their own awareness meaning its no different than cigarettes or alcohol, in fact any counter argument you can make for why not is invalidated as long as cigarettes and alcohol are still legal (which im not saying to make illegal btw)
many of the dangers involved with drugs would be self correcting in a legalized environment: lack of standardized dosages, non standard or haphazard manufacturing processes, other drugs/substances cut in due to lack of regulation, danger of prosecution/felony for simple possession and lastly funding/aiding crime.
that is to say by allowing it to be legal we could then regulate it, ultimately im against any legislation that restricts or makes illegal anything that has no victims outside the individual perpetrating.

Plus, it’s a fact that african american males have higher rates of stds/stis than every other race/ethnicity. Additionally, black men are much more likely to cheat. All of this is simply from statistics. So factoring that in, the likelihood of a woman who sleeps or has slept with a black guy having an std/sti is significantly higher than if she hadn’t.
So even attractive white chicks that sleep with hood type of black dudes or any hood/impoverished looking dudes, are usually written off to be disease ridden.
Now I’m not racist. So I want to state that there is a correlation between poverty and low income individuals and those std/sti rates. So to me, it doesn’t matter if it’s a black dude, or a ghetto white/yellow/brown/red/green/blue dude, if she’s with trashy guys, she’s a trashy girl. Simple.

He was also found with meth, there's several potential variables that you guys aren't considering. These are two different judges and while they're going off the same book they all have their own biases that come in to play when passing judgement, some are definitely harsher than others. Also, who knows how many strikes the guy had, maybe he had a long record while the woman has a clean slate. I don't feel comfortable or feel like it's reasonable to conclude that sexism was the driving cause of the vast difference in punishment here, there's too many variables that affect the outcome other than sexism that are not being considered.
