How do you stop comparing yourself?

Start by killing off your social media accounts. A lot of people live fake lives there. Besides most of the time you only see a glimpse of other people's lives. You see the side that they wish to present to the world. Often this side is very fake. Most people in the West live lives of quiet desperation anyway. Lost in useless materialism, chasing that elusive carrot.... Most of the time though, a hard life is a good life. Or at least, the most interesting.

Everyones issues are relative, so at the end of the day everyone is equal in that although their troubles may seem petty to you, they are just as real to them. So essentially you are comparing yourself to someone who is just another version of yourself. Theres no point in that.

Everyone takes a shit.

And all shit stinks.

Its a stupid thought but when you picture every one of those people you are jealous of, or every girl you lust after taking a dump in a toilet - everything kinda evens out.

Your path is not their path.

And look up ' Amor Fati ' - you have to Love Fate - I cannot count how many times in my life 'bad' things happened only to lead to something truly great later on - that would never would have happened if I was allowed to 'skip' the bad thing.

The world is full of people who have attributes to which I aspire, associating with them has raised my game on more than one occasion. Don't beat yourself up about their ostensible superiority which may not exist in reality just use them as a coach until familiarity breeds contempt.

get off social media, that is the main source of comparison, avoid it like the plague. They present a false image to try to one up each other constantly on there. It is a hell created by women for other women to burn in.

Keep your eyes on your own simple trail and stop eye balling that 4 lane highway next to you . Its a lot of taxes, headaches and expensive upkeep to deal with.
