Couldn't happen to a nicer, smarter man that always considered the other side's position and never allowed emotion/ideology/ethnic matters to cloud his judgment or reason.

Still, JD was just something he co-opted and grafted his WOLF-PAC nonsense onto so that he could claim that he had skin in the game for Democrat reform.

The sad thing is that Cenk will learn NOTHING from this, won't change except in the ways that are absolutely necessary for his own survival, and will spend the next couple months saying that not only was he not to blame for this, but he was never involved in JD in any serious way. Whatever revised history he has to make in order to backpedal from this in the most dishonest way possible is what the next couple shows will be about.

It's just like all the times he's tried to walk away from the Armenian Genocide denial; he does it in a TECHNICALLY correct way, but you know it's not because he honestly regrets it, but because it's an albatross around his neck he's trying to get off lazily. His pride and his ego won't allow him to ever admit he's wrong on something THAT huge, which is why he's been so rabidly anti-Trump since the election.

When I heard Cenk was forced to resign, I have to admit for a split second I almost dared to dream that it was from TYT and not just JD, because I think TYT has enough good in it to remain around, so long as there's top-to-bottom reform. Such reform would have to be:

1 - Cenk and Ana need to go, probably a couple other people too.

2 - The name needs to change (obviously).

3 - Lose the Feminist/SJW/BLM ideology and focus on core liberal principles that don't have such bad philosophical and practical baggage.

4 - Find sources of funding that AREN'T the Qatari government or shady Washington insiders with money to burn on media that purports to be independent.

5 - Spend that funding on ACTUAL journalists, and not partisan hacks like Kunst and Talcum X. Give Tracey a promotion and hire back Chariton; use Kunst's and Talcum X's salary to hire impartial and professional journalists instead, so that actual new content can be created instead of just trawling Buzzfeed and HuffPo parasitically.
