In Ancient Rome it was commonplace for old, childless men to adopt young men they deemed worthy as their heirs. Why not bring back the practice?

My nephew. He's only 7 years old, but I know he's going to lead a hard life. I have 20 years on him, so my idea is that by the time he reaches his teens I'll be there to give him advice, then in early adulthood I can lend money, help him out with his first car and flat, etc., all the things I would have wanted growing up.

Otherwise I quite like the ideas in this thread, to find someone to mentor, or to simply leave it to charity.

My parents, should I die before them. When they pass, my sister will be the primary on any insurance policies I own. Once she has kids, the payouts will go into a trust for them, to be split equally between however many kids she ends up having.

strictly men’s charities/shelters
animal shelters
create some sort of MGTOW foundation for men and boys
sell everything and use it all on a dope hooker/drug filled vacation

I doubt I'll ever amass any wealth, and I would not be surprised if I was just left to die in a gutter.

I don't have anything to leave behind (besides my books), and I'll more than likely end up working until 65 because the world has shit on me for decades.

Why should I care anymore? Even if I did, I'd prolly leave it to a homeless shelter or something. Get a soup kitchen going.
