I'm 22, I haven't been in a relationship since high school. For a while I was feeling bad that all my highschool buddies had GFs (and now a few wives, and a couple babies), but now, I can see that I'm in a much better position than most of them.

I have a great job for the summer in a resort town. If I was in a relationship I wouldn't have been able to move here for the job. Once the summer is over I plan on moving to Hawaii (fuck snow). I have nothing tying me down. My bank account is full. I can wear whatever I want without worrying about if my significant other thinks it looks ok.

Basically I can live my life however I want to live it.

Meanwhile my friends have to stay where they are at. Some of them at jobs they don't like. I saw one friend recently who decided to marry a trophy wife. His wife doesn't work, spends money like CRAZY and will nag at him if she doesn't have the latest fashion. Another friend has a kid. I know he was planning on divorcing his wife, but now these people who hate each other are staying together"for the baby."

So I've got no plans in the near future to get into a relationship.
