I was watching the Nic Krauser - Don't Hate the Player episode when they started talking about why men can't or don't consider social cold approaches, and it made me think about approach anxiety.

My approach anxiety has changed and minimalized. The gut fear of rejection and being made a social outcast is entirely gone, and the only anxiety I have is to perform well and not make a mistake. There's no fear of the rejection itself, just failure to accomplish what I set out to do.

Has anyone else noticed this? If that force of approach anxiety that tormented me for some of the best years of my life had been caused by this blue pill fantasy, I'd rage a lil'.
