I still believe in Captain America, at least from the impression I get from him in the movies. He represents the highest of American ideals that we all strive to be but that he actually sticks to. His trilogy is by far the best of the marvel universe because of how hard it is to embody those ideals. Captain America is challenged at every turn, whether its nazi Germany in the first, the cabbalistic hydra secret society in the second, or the ideological consequences of the damage caused by hydra that is embodied by tony stark in the third (edit: his dad getting assassinated by hydra agent winter soldier). But referring back to a line from civil war, he's seriously planted like a tree when it comes to his beliefs, which makes a lot of people pissed off at him. That's why it's not easy living up to those ideals to the level that Captain America does. You have to be willing to die for them. #TeamCap
