Beautiful 2nd gen SV man, that was my first bike as well. I see it's got some decent farkles already with the frame sliders, aftermarket windscreen, slip-on, etc. If you haven't already, look into a Yamaha R6 throttle tube to reduce the amount of throttle turn and the need for "regripping" and also look into getting an aTRE to smooth out the low speed throttle response. Also look into getting the suspension improved - generally need heavier than stock fork springs and oil and a rear shock swap from a ZX10 will improve the ride substantially. Looks like you've already got the "ride it and have fun" part down!

I just bought one exactly like yours, but blue from a friend that got trapped on the plantation. 😀.
The style of these bikes hold up so good. No one knows they are 12 years old. Great design by Suzuki. I'm tempted to buy a second one to have as a spare they are so cheap ($3-4k).

This title. People really need to get this. Its so true. Before i was hellbent on finding a relationship it controlled the first two decades of my life. Now that i am free. Life is really my own to walk and it feels that way 100% its so different when you do not need something from someone and are not concerned with pussy and looking cool

Great looking bike!

What's a good starter bike to look into? Personally, I'd prefer not to have the "lean-forward" type (at least my first one) and more of the "sit-up-straight-and-enjoy-the-view" type (I obviously know nothing about motorcycles). Any ideas?
