So as the community grows the number of user posts has also increased. The quality of posts varies from great to poor to repetitive and everything in between. In the democratic spirit, what are your opinions on how these posts should be handled and moderated?

I’m going to post about 10 opinions and perhaps you could take the time to upvote or downvote the suggestion if you agree or disagree.

In the spirit of full disclosure my personal opinion is that there should be fewer posts of higher quality of a good balance of topics, with a low tolerance for repetitive posts (within the same 24 hours) and confusing or dreadfully inciting posts. As for what makes a ‘good post’ my opinion is

  • Catchy title
  • Optional but clever picture for a visual
  • Some direction or statement on the point you are trying to make if it’s not abundantly obvious
  • A TL/DR statement (preferable at the top) of a wall of text.
