Last year, April 2017, I bought a new Nissan Versa 2016 (last one they had) at dealer, put about 3000USD down, and financed the rest. So I saved up for the last year about 8000USD, paid the bare minimum for a year and change, and as of last Friday, I went to my bank, took out a bank check to payout the lien holder(another bank), and whammo! No more debt!
Just wanted to thank the community through your ideas and experiences to do the right things fiscally, among other things. I wish I had known about this way of life when I graduated college!
