Technology is women's worst enemy.
[–]throwawaypsycho8041 points42 points43 points 8 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
I don't know, so far it has given them a massive free for all cock buffet called "social" media.
I can't wait till lonely underpaid silicon valley code monkeys go rogue and start implementing backdoors in social media targeting women... oh wait... maybe it is already happening.
Can't wait for the FBleaks, IGleaks, Tinderleaks...

TagTheSponsor is doing something similar.

I meant not just Instagram "models". All social media. All women.

a massive free for all cock buffet called "social" media.
Women could always get cock. Cock (alone) doesn't satisfy most women for long.
It would be like if there was an app for guys that let you be put in the friendzone. You'd have a girl to talk to, and do stuff for, and buy birthday gifts for, but you'd never, ever, ever get to sleep with them.
Endless women to give commitment to, no sex. Might be fun for some guys to hang out with beautiful women for a while, and you'd go from hot chick to hot chick trying to get laid, but all they'd ever give you is blah blah blah blah, and requests for favors.
You'd be pretty dejected after a while.
[–]throwawaypsycho801 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Then if they aren't satisfied from cock, pray tell, why do they keep riding the carousel ? surely at some point they must realize they ain't going to find prince charming on the carousel

You're expecting too much from the masses of women.
[–]dinaru 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm pretty sure that exists, plus a lot of women do that stuff regardless, but I distinctly remember there being an app for that. Twitch "gamer gurls" are also doing the exact same thing and having great success with it.
I think you underestimate just how thirsty some guys are. I think the world would be far better if guys were less thirsty, though, so that these tactics wouldn't work, but they do work.
[–]OptimusFried5 points 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
But that eventually leaves them broken and dead inside. So it's not as awesome as you'd think.
[–]DanThe__Man0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
But they didn't create it.

"I tried to use remove option but then this app crashed." ~ Females
Of course it crashed.. even this app couldn't stand her face! It had to crash itself to prevent phone self-destruction option lmao ; )

omen know what they look like without makeup. All the negative reviews are done by females, and are used to discredit the app
[–]loddfavne1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
They're thinking one step ahead. What if this function starts popping up in other app. I would live a cellphone with this built in. But, I'd settle for Facebook, Snapchat and Tinder having this built in.
[–]iracundiarock 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
i would def pay for this app if it didn't crash!

Good question.
do you feel
High chance you are a female but I'll answer your question.
People who rent cars can do it. Its like renting a house. Showing status by renting your mansion isn't a problem.
People buy suits because it has to fit. A suit isn't a cloth you can just buy of the rack and it will fit perfectly. Renting this one is almost not possible.
People claim to be rich or show richness to have people look up to them or attract the opposite sex. Some do it because they can. Even then they had to work to make it possible.
Make up however is lying because you want to be a person you aren't. No matter what a man buys, his persona and looks remain the same. The best make up is working out.
[–]strongm88 points9 points10 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Wearing makeup is a facade and a lie especially if the woman is not nearly as attractive without make up.
Guys who claim to be rich is also a facade and a lie. Both parties end up playing each other. The fake pretty girl hooks up with the fake rich guy, it's a dual deceit type of thing.
I should note, almost all girls wear makeup, not almost all guys pretend to be rich (expensive studio, cars, etc). So on average, there are significantly more deceitful women.
[–]Baldrbaldr1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Yes, it's the same. The only difference is that almost no men claim to be rich when they really aren't, and almost all women use makeup to pretend to be more beautiful than they really are.
[–]mechdemon0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
That's not really fair; there are plenty of men who live beyond their means in an effort to impress women.
That said, the mating game is inherently deceptive as both sides try to present themselves in the best light possible according to what they think the other side values. If those values changed to thing that were harder to fake we might find humanity in a better state.
If wishes were horses etc.
[–]strongm80 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I totally see your point brother. Lots of guys do.
Compare the ratio for me tho, out of 10 girls you have ran into, how many beautify themselves via makeup?
Now out of 10 guys you know how many live beyond their means for women?
Do you spend more then you should on women? The average guy isn't too far from you (or me). We generally are very similar in behavior. Our cost/benefit analysis outcomes tend to be very similar.
[–]mechdemon1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
you are certainly correct with the unstated assumption that women are more deceptive - they have to make up for their lack of physical skills with something. Additionally, What men value can be easy to portray via makeup so its used to increase their odds of landing their ideal mate.
It is a little harder to fake what women want because the social/emotional skills required to fake it are less familiar to men, hence the popularity of PUA/red pill.
The question of living beyond means is a tricky one, because it not only includes guys trying to attract a woman, but also trying to keep one. How many married men spend way too much on useless bric-a-brac just to make their wives happy? How much of the stuff in a co-habitated dwelling is stuff she wanted vs. stuff he wanted? The answer to this question reveals the business model of many major american retailers i.e. target, bed bath and beyond, etc.
Women's desires drive a capitalistic engine of the economy through consumption not only on their end, but also via men as proxies.
As a note, I could probably cite statistical information for some of these points, but it is all stuff that has been posted here before. I can dig it up if you want, but I'm writing this while gaming so I'm being hasty.
tl;dr I agree with you, but the picture is bigger than just presenting a false facade and how it shapes our society.
[–]strongm80 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Ahhh, and I agree you with, friend. Very interesting, that's a viewpoint I hadn't even considered, and it's a very true one.

We always knew that women don't look the same with make-up. It's women themselves that took offense of a downloadable app and had to make it viral. MGTOW are just a bunch of bros that turn something unnecessary into something to make fun of.
