Why is it the more time I spend with a woman the more she expects from me yet the less she expects to give in return?

Is it a case of wanting your cake and eating it too? Women need men the way a fish needs a bike and yet men supposedly need women (doesn't help that men are painted as hapless without a woman to society at large, women buy into it as well as some men). Women are baby-making machines, without having one they would feel more empty than a man who can have a baby and be none the wiser. Shouldn't they be worshipping the ground we walk on rather than expecting the opposite?
