The majority of times a woman attempts suicide, it's for attention. She usually fails her attempt, and will actually call for an ambulance after taking an overdose. Ergo: attention seeking.

The majory of times a amn attempts suide, it's simply to end his life.

I'm not convinced the wife didn't do it. She manages to get the saw running, attacks him, beats herself a few times with the blunt end of the hatchet, then calls the cops.

I mean, the cops got there after everything went down. A guy would really want to check out to voluntarily use a chainsaw.

Holy fuck. I've been down the suicide road a few times. I found hanging myself to be too intimidating, and didn't go through with electrocution out of fear as well.

I can't imagine being so worked up that using a chainsaw sounds like a good idea. That dude had some big big man balls.
