What's the point of having kids if men never get custody?

From the man's viewpoint there is very little to have children. Men face indentured servitude until the child is 18 or some cases till 26. Failure to comply means jail. The man loses control of being a parent to said children. From the woman's viewpoint it is a guarantee of obtaining resources with little control of how she uses those resources. There is little or no penalty for her.

I have been trying to get my two college sons to listen this. One is and the other is not.

Now that you have put it directly, there is little incentive for men to form families. The kids belong to the wife. I think that makes us a matriarchy by default.

For my Father's generation marriage was a means to secure a domestic helper (cleaner and cook). Most women had a stipulation that they wanted kids and the men reluctantly said yes.

Thing is in 2018 I haven't met a woman who can do domestic chores well and the court system is pretty messed up as it is.

I will chime in from experience, even if you stay married you will struggle raising your kids. It's rare to see a husband and wife on board with the same parenting styles. Everything I ever wanted to show my kids, my (now EX) wife would fight me on. Sometimes I felt she'd do it out of spite, just wanting to be contrary. For example, I wanted my kids to grow up doing chores around the house to learn responsibility and the value of work. She refused to let them do anything aside from pick up their toys. I have 20 more examples but my point is, these days without leverage in a modern marriage, you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

That's exactly why there is no quid pro quo with women: the children they're "offering" in exchange for your resources, can effectively be taken away from you any time she feels like it while you're still on the legal and financial hook for them under the threat of prison. Hence, the modern Marriage License is a scam. QED.

I got full custody of my 4 daughters... it is not never.

You do need to fight and fight hard for your kids.

Many men just roll over and take it, or are still trying to "save" their marriage and agree to whatever she wants. If she has filed for divorce she has already moved on to someone else. You need to educate yourself and prepare to do what it takes to save your kids from becoming yet another statistic because they were raised by a single mother.

There is no point in having kids if men never get custody. Children legally are not yours as a man. I'm not going to bring a child into this world for him to be raised by a single mom. And with the divorce rates so out of control it seems like that would be the likely scenario.

So if you legally can't have a child, then what is the point in getting married?

I'm grateful for my kid for sure. Him and I are best friends and get along great. However, if I could go back I would not have a child with his mother. I'd pay a surrogate and save the 10k that I've been paying in child support for the last 16 years.

This is the main problem with our society. It's anti-family. I can see how any redpilled man would be weary of having children under this climate. You'd probably have to leave the country to protect yourself and your child from a woman.
