I overheard a female college student tell her friends this as they sat one booth over from me at a restaurant once. I turned around, raised my glass to her, and said "ma'am, i salute you as a woman who knows what she wants and is not shy about it. Good for you!" I was perfectly sincere, too. They were not at all offended, we had a toast, i went back to my food. Sue me, but I gotta give credit where it's due.
