When you're in a group of people and it is known you're single, women will target you for all kind of errands and favors. And people will specially introduce you as "single" to all the relevant females right away. Usually the betabucks that are already in relationshits can't be targeted when the GF is around, but the strategy works wonders with the thirsty single ones specially with a little flirt. If someone else sees you denying help to a woman you will be shamed "no wonder you're single", "don't be a jerk, she's asking real nice". I'm even considering having a fake GF to tell other people (not close friends but acquaintances, colleagues and the such) so I can ghost better.
