Are (LV) men just naturally more addicted to shit—sex/objectification, cult behavior (the stalkerlike reachouts), drugs, etc... they avoid and run from real issues...ie inner work.

The religious NVM I was involved with last year consistently used religion as an excuse for poor behavior and also for negging. We were always only friends, but despite this he told me that he “fell in love at first sight” but had to ensure I was “religious enough” to be his partner, as the Bible warns against being “unequally yoked.” He projected an idealized image onto me and dumped his emotional baggage, which I allowed, thinking that I was being a considerate friend. I eventually realized that someone who actually believed in the tenets of his faith would never act the way he did towards me, as if he were entitled to my time, energy, and attention. Why would I wish to be “yoked” to such a selfish person? When I realized I was being used, I cut him off. Discovering FDS shortly thereafter was a blessing I am extremely grateful for.
