I saw the recent post here by u/Bobby2016b and was reminded of another article I read not too long ago. Foodie Call article and Pulling a Pig article. The hypocrisy is so glaring. The Food Call article about women using men to get free, expensive meals treats the whole thing as a funny, harmless joke

Balsinger decided to seriously try a friend’s humorous suggestion: Meet guys on Tinder for the sole purpose of scoring free meals.

Not only that, but then it says

until the wage gap stabilizes, it’s more than fair game for guys to pay.

I don't think I need to explain to the men here the idiocy of using the mythological wage gap to justify this vindictive behavior. So the Food Call thing is all treated like good fun, yet men who similarly use women to get what they want or to play a prank on them are "cruel" and "horrible" people. It's the same old double standard of "it's fine when women do it to men; it's monstrous when men do it to women"
