This is so true... Let me tell you a story about my first ex. I was really bluepilled at that point.

I got to know about her through mutual friends. She invited me to help her with her homework or wanted to get a lift from me, etc. I complied as I saw that she has interest in me. I visited her just as friend, then some 2 months into our relationship I asked her if she could be my girlfriend and she straight out told me that she loves me as a friend, but it isn't something more. She even told me in that time that she could even help me get other girl than she, but she isn't interested in me. Then I tried to convince her for another month. After 3 months of trying to get her I had honest talk with another girl, that used to be friend of mine - that she also had problems with one guy and maybe if I want we could try being together. I said ok, that maybe it might work out with her.

Then I made a mistake by telling that to my ex. The day I told her, she just brought me into her bed. All the previous talk about how she would be happy for me if I would find another girl was gone and she just came out as the dog in the manger. Then I had really toxic relationship in which she kept me with sex, but she was straight out ashamed of her being with me. She put me through countless of bullshit tests to test if I am "worthy" of her. She didn't want to tell anyone about our relationship, but everytime I got angry at her she just cried and then tried to calm me down with sex, but she changed nothing in the end. She wanted to get me into guilt about how bad I am, but none of this would happen if she would let me go with that other girl or if she would treat me better.
