Gym is great because you're constantly fighting, making the everyday crap you're gonna get from people seem like nothing.

This really resonated with me. I'm part of the lost generation, no great strugle to overcome, no adventure, nothing left to explore. What you said made something click.

My great strugle is the everyday grind to rise above complacency.

Writing could be more organized and succinct, but I appreciate this post. I've also been getting comments from family about how I've been "cold" and "so concerned with my looks" now. I've really been needing to work on my attitude and the way I portray myself to those still plugged in. After internalizing TRP I've had difficulty keeping my mouth shut about my opinions in regards to society and women. I don't say it's RP, but I use some RP terminology and need to quit that shit before I get burned.

For example, yesterday my plate said "you're a woman-hater, aren't you." And I just said yes. I held frame but I could tell it took something out her. Now I don't care if she splits, but I could have kept up the illusion and her happiness longer if I was better at managing my mouth.

So I'm taking your "embrace the bad" approach but need to be a lot more machiavellian about what I say to people. Moreover, still trying to balance between injecting too much beta comfort into a woman to relax her and being too dismissive and smug.

Anyway, keep up the good work.

Here's my read on things...

Beta to you means slavery, which is correct, but that's something you are still pulled towards.

By basically filling your mind with hostility you block and repress your inner Beta and women find your state of confused energy attractive.

However, like some PUA types you never really secured your Frame. All your interactions with women are such that you must add energy to keep yourself internally agitated.

What you want is a natural ease which defines your Frame and can feel emotions of love towards others.

Red Pill is never about lowered consciousness.

So I see you as more PUA, more "act" than Alpha.

Alpha means Frame and Game, so you need Frame to be comfortable in your own skin and have ease in experiencing emotion, but the Game is the fun, the manipulation of women.

So it seems you might need better Frame control.

Also, it's sad, but the freedom and enlightenment you seek is relative to how many religious controlling people you have broken ties with, physically how far you are from those people and places you experienced the shaming and guilting, and how much time goes by. If you completely break ties, and move at least an hour away (I'd probably be twice as better off if I was in a different state) with a phone number they don't know, and their phone numbers not in your phone , then let time go by.. you will begin to experience 'echos' of freedom. You will be, say, reading at night and bam, you feel one of those 'echos.' They taste like freedom. The degrees of freedom loosen like a tightly tied knot. At the same time there are 'echos' (going with the echo thing) of of loss, or the sense that you should visit the people you broke away with ('with' instead of 'from' was a freudian slip, I still miss the people who were bad to/for me). But like a smoker that quit 2 years before, you know you shouldn't return. An 'echo' of freedom on the other hand is euphoric and real. You may still find yourself doing guilt laden routines, but instead of being blindly entrenched in them you see yourself with the third eye and think 'why am I doing that' much like you might think when observing someone else doing such behavior. It just doesn't make sense; they are just bad habits like someone that taps their pencil in class.

Only time will shed these things, but first you must be free and clear of the twisted people you are suplicating too, even if it's family, life long friends, and pretty much everyone you know/knew.

I actually 'orphaned' myself to a LTR I was in. I now know noone that guilted me, shamed me or otherwise manipulated me, including my family. I'm glad I don't. I'm already better off than I ever was, though it's a long road ahead of me, an obvious road worth taking.

Good field report. While your observations on "bad versus good" behavior, and the results that each bring, are on point, I would like to offer a perspective you might not have considered.

Morality--good and bad--are concepts that are used by people to control each other (The State uses laws to control us, The Church uses articles of faith, everyone uses the media, and so on). The most common type of "bad" we see in today's world is not true immorality per se, but it is the refusal to be controlled. When someone decides to claim sanction over their own life, they are considered "bad" by those who have hijacked the moral high-ground.

Shakespeare (who created almost exclusively amoral characters) once wrote, "Nothing is either good or bad, but thinking makes it so."

Consider that idea for a second, and how it relates to TRP. We all are probably well aware that others want to control us, and that people benefit from having control over others... but have you ever wondered why denouncing "morality" represents freedom?

It's not because you're choosing to be "bad," but it's because you are choosing to be neither "good" nor "bad." This is why TRP is amoral. Not because it is bad, but because it doesn't even acknowledge evil/justice in the first place.

It only acknowledges reality, which apparently is "bad," nowadays.

Gym is at the heart of self improvement because it is entirely about investing in yourself. No one else will benefit when you hit that 225lb bench, no one else will benefit when that first shoulder vein pops, it's all about you. That's also why gym shaming is a thing, entitled people can't fathom the fact that you're doing something entirely for yourself and there is no way for them to benefit from it.

Another great thing about gym that I haven't seen mentioned here is the fact that it is not easy. I can't stress enough how important this is because anyone looking to improve themselves is, naturally, susceptible to shortcuts and scams and while the scams themselves don't matter much, your wasted time does and turning into a professional victim does. There are no shortcuts, you learn this the hard way and the right way and the proof is yourself and when you look around and see all the fat fucks claiming it's genetics or whatever bullshit they spew you realize that it's always all on you, you realize how much control you have over your life. You can see the end result, know what it takes to get there and then you see this horde of losers with nothing but excuses and then you have a light bulb moment that makes you understand on a molecular level that there are 2 responses to every problem. There are excuses and there are solutions.

You see a rich successful guy and want to be like him? Stop slacking. Put in your hard work, be vigilant, work hard but also smart. Always be looking for opportunities, never be afraid to chase your ambitions, never apologize for your hunger. Set short, medium and long term goals if you don't want to be a grinder for the rest of your life.

You see some super enlightened guy who is at peace with himself, is a source of inspiration and wisdom to everyone around him and you want to be like him? Stop lying to yourself, confront your fears, put the hard work in, hate yourself and then forgive yourself. Practice truth till it becomes intuition, till your gut is free of trickery and deception and is ruled by what you truly believe.

For anyone with half a brain the gym experience is the simplest experiment to prove the theory, that everyone knows and talks about but very few truly believe enough to put into practice, that time + smarts + hard work = success in any walk of life.
