He is spot on and how I think about it, price of pussy is plummeting and a woman that has sex with many men are not considered to be long term relationship or wife material. Getting sex is like ordering a pizza. The times or working your ass off courting a woman are long gone, it's not even worth it and the women played a huge part into this. Had this conversation with my Mom, I explained that women owned the sexual marketplace and sex used to have a lot of value, so much so that men were willing to effectively throw their lives away for the expectation of sex and loyalty from a woman. But today, sex is so easy to get that women's sexuality is now a commodity, it's of low value so men don't need to marry for it. She didn't understand, or refused to understand.

Then she brought up my cousin who is unmarried but having a baby saying they should marry, I said "why? What's in it for him?" My Mom "well, they can show their commitment and it's good the kids have that", ummm so my cousin should sign up for giving up half of all his future earnings, retirement, another 40% + of his take home pay when she decides to divorce to "find herself" (i.e. fuck her ex-boyfriend Chad who gave her her first kid) for nothing more than "well he just should, because it's right!", gtfo, I told my Mom men are waking up to the raw deal women are trying to sell them today.

It's simple economics. A women's sexual market portfolio is extremely non-diversified, it is almost entirely weighted in her sexual appeal. Now in supply/demand equilibrium; the supply, like the author states, includes alternatives for sexual gratification. This now includes prostitutes, escorts, porn, sex toys, sex dolls, online dating, friends-with-benefits, swinger communities, etc. So as the supply exploded, the price of sex plummeted. The problem was women didn't diversify their portfolio.
