Summary: Slut from the old days is still who she is, and she is still getting rewarded for it.

Body

There was this girl when i was growing up who was my sister's age(6 years on me). She was the very first instance of CC riding that i ever witnessed in my life. She started slutting it up around age 14, where she was known to disappear in random guys' houses for hours on end. Around age 16 or so, she upgraded; now it was only much older guys in their cars who would pick her up and bring her back at all sorts of hours. Her mother always took exception whenever anyone pointed out her daughter's ways (Dead father) and when I left that neighbourhood eight years ago, she was still pretty much being your prototypical gold-digging, vapid cum-dumpster.

Fast forward to a few days ago, and who do i bump into but our old neighbourhood skank. We were in a supermarket, in one of the most affluent parts of town, where prices are generally much steeper than anywhere else. She was pushing this trolly full of shit. She immediately recognised, and the convo went thus:

Her: OMG, Meat, is that you? Wow, you've gotten so big.

She pinches my arms.

Me: Yeah, it's a side-effect of working out.

Her: So what are you up to?

Me: This and that. You? Working?

She basically guffaws--you know that loud ratchet laugh when you say something unfathomable to them? That's the one.

Her: No darling, I'm married.

She flashes a ring at me, to which i pay scant attention.

Me: Is he here with you?

Her: Yeah, i sent him to the other side to get me some muffins. You wanna meet him?

I tell her i do, but of course, it's not for the reasons she thinks. As we wait for him and shoot the shit, i run a nice little game of odds in my head. My guess is the following: doughy, nerdish and socially awkward male with a "Captain Save-a-ho" shirt...I'm not too far off.

The guy lumbers along to us, a portly, balding, bespectacled bear. He'd actually wearing a Superman logo shirt, and i chuckle to myself, of course.

She introduces us, and i ask a few questions about their marriage and all that. I have no genuine interest of course; my purpose is to see just how they interact. Whenever he's talking, he shifts gaze from around my chest to her, making sure that he doesn't say anything she disapproves of. Apparently they met at a nightclub, and it was the first night that either of them had been in a club(LOL) and they immediately hit it off. He tells me how he was happy to finally meet a good girl who saw things the way he did and that she is amazing...even though it took his best "game" to get her out her shell.

I look at her as he speaks, a somewhat smug smirk on my face. This is a girl who was in more nightclubs by the time she was 18 than a shitty DJ, And the only shell she's ever been in is the one made of the Joker-like makeup on her face.

She cuts off him at some point, and states that they need to go. He obeys, says it was nice meeting me, and they shuffle off.

In the parking lot, I watch from across as he loads up groceries whilst she is on her phone, and I can't help but be struck by the little nuances of life. Eight years ago, when i left the old neighbourhood, I was a very different person. Women had never been a problem for me, but I lacked direction for the most part. Through years of deliberate improvement, i changed enough about myself to where i can like myself as not only a person but a man. I literally look nothing like i did then, having added a solid 50lbs to my frame. All i have and am today is because i changed as a person.

Her? Still the same old basic bitch. I can bet you she hasn't learned or tried to improve in any way in all this time. Her makeup still being shitty is all the evidence i need, really. Still relying on her looks to get what she wants, and even though she is over 30 now, evidently those looks were enough to snag a beta whom she could control simply by deciding when to open her legs. I gotta wonder how many random guys are hitting that whenever he's at work. Probably gonna raise some Chad's kid, too. The more things change, huh? Life's funny like that.
