Amazon is a shit company to work for as is and taxing them even more would only make things worse for their employees.

Taxing big companies doesn't help workers. They'll resort to shady tactics to cut costs which usually means the workers end up paying.

Honestly the last thing Seattle needs is another Amazon building. Where are the people that work in that building going to live? This city and state have strict anti-development rules with regard to residential housing so there's a huge housing shortage at the moment. A well run city would welcome as much development as Amazon is willing to give it but Seattle is not a well run city. Thus, we'll be better off without this new building.
