Read some Schopenhauer and Seneca and many more, they are essentially advocating MGTOW and for those bright men and as well for my humble self, GYOW is an all comprising philosophy of forsaking the need for external validation and internalizing that a man only can bring himself true happiness and contentness.

i agree (although im not MGTOW). HOWEVER, the term it's self "men going their own way," is very nuanced. that's why it's "their own way."

it doesn't have to be a set direction for every MGTOW. to me, MGTOW Philosophy doesn't seem to be a stereotype. it seems to be very versatile in promoting the freedom of living life on your terms. if it had a set direction, then it wouldn't be called "Men Going Their Own Way." it would be called "Men Going A Particular Way." (MGAPW, WTF?)

MGTOW is not a philosophy or ideology, it is a survival and self-saving approach which uses, among other things, philosophy. As such its destination is survival, so indeed very well defined. There is nothing incomplete about this per se.

When everything you've ever known exists within a certain paradigm, it is difficult to think outside of that paradigm. Instead of telling you what you should do (like your parents, schools, church, government, society, ideology, philosophy, etc.) MGTOW says: what you should do is figure out for yourself what you should do.

It is far more healthy than the meaningless consumerist nihilism of the typical inhabitant of the western world.

For me, the destination ended up being spiritual. I came to see the husband/wife mother/offspring creator/created as a backwards reflection of the relationship with our creator. The desire I have for women was and is really a desire for our Source.

I came to realize this is why relationships with women were so horribly painful. We seek none other than our True creator. This, I came to understand is why women seek approval from other women.

The 'end result' of MGTOW, for me, is a returning home.

Your statement that it is incomplete is totally correct. I even see a day, in the future, when men and women can have relationships as equal, rather than the twisted substitute for God that we have collectively bought into.

After reading all of the comments. I can honestly say that this post is useless at best and distracting at worst. All of OP's replies, even after well thought out explanations, never deviate from his original statement. To me he doesn't want to understand and his ramblings as he convinces himself to put his own chains on again could mess with others. I don't have a real beef with OP, but MGTOW doesn't seem like the place for you.
