I went to Japan alone. Fuck was it the most fun ever. I stayed in a hostel where I talked to some cool people. I went where I wanted when I wanted. I barely spent any money at all (seriously it was less than 1/5 of what I brought with me despite doing everything I wanted to). I met some crazy ass Italians who took me to a Filipino bar where we had a good time. I got invited to go with them to a brothel but I didn't go. I hiked my ass off by going 20-25km every day (something no woman I've had would ever do). I went to a music show with half naked women on big robots and it was a blast. I was drunk pretty much all the time. I ate food at some sketchy looking places no woman would want to go (all of it was delicious). I ate some convenience store food (somehow also pretty good). I got lost everywhere I went and I didn't care because I didn't have some woman nagging at me that she's tired and hot and wants to go home and bugs me to ask directions. Not to mention bitch all the time about not knowing how to talk to people or read the signs. Not to mention luggage. I had one backpack with all my shit and I hauled that shit around everywhere. There's no way most women would purposely do that.

That was seriously the best trip of my life. I can only imagine I would have hated that wonderful place if I was with somebody though. There's too much I would have missed out on. I would have also been forced to just be a tourist instead of just enjoying myself.

I want to do this too for a few weeks, just drive wherever with no real destination and improvise whatever. As long as you have enough funds you can do anything you like.

I've done it before and enjoyed it. You almost feel less like a tourist in a weird way because it's just you out and about exploring a new city or town. I was able to do things that I wanted and create my own itenerary. I would do it again

The perks are that you get so much more attention from the staff. Couples (I've been there) that take their girlfriend to these resorts and the staff immediately knows that if they keep her happy, you can't really complain. They don't really pay much heed to your enjoyment.

When you go alone (ensure that the staff knows you're traveling alone), the staff will consistently come around asking if you're doing well and they'll give you hints and tips on what to do on your spare time. They make awesome recommendations for places to go party, sightseeing and eat. When you travel with a woman they will mostly tell you about places that tourist cucks go to blow off money and take selfies.

If I can't go with one of my buddies (red pill only), I'll just go solo.

It's just fine for me as I am used to being on my own. I don't get bored or lonely too easily. Last time I partied day and night and hollered at girls and made new guy friends and we hollered at girls together.

Then I played videogames with new guy friends. Had a blast of a vacation.

Legit the best thing about the fews days I had alone on my recent trip was that I didn't organize public transport or anything I just walked everywhere, got to experience the new city, the smells, the people, colours all that glorious shit that people try to capture and regurgitate to the matrix.

Didn't touch my phone for three days just drank in everything I did and everyone I spoke to, just making new memories alone was the best bit.

what are the perks ?

ZERO arguments over: where to stay, when or where (or via restaurant choice what) to eat, which sights to see, what time to get up, what time to go to sleep, etc.

Also no WAITING... for the other person to get up, get out of the shower, get ready to go do something, finish packing, eating, etc.

-- Downside... unless you into and equipped to take "selfies" (which didn't really used to be an option) basically you'll be taking photos of scenery and other people in that scenery, and not be in it yourself.

Than again, depending on how you feel about photos of yourself, that too could be considered a "perk."
