I'm MGTOW, and it's kind of sad. I'm not it because I want to "be" that way, it is because society has forced my hand and drove me toward that way of being.

I think the ideas of love and marriage are beautiful -- but only when they're ideas.

'First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage' sounds lovely.

But I look around and, while it might have once been an achievable dream, the love-to-marriage ideal has been destroyed.

There is no love, or very little of it, between man and woman anymore. And those who think they are in love generally mistake lust and/or superficial like for love ... they don't love the person, they love the body or the things the person has.

And "love" too often is conditional. Ask any young woman who claims to be madly in love with a man were he to lose both his arms and legs in a car accident and become a nugget whether or not she would stick with him, you will here ... crickets ... then a tepid "yes, of course." But the silence, the hesitation reveals the truth.

But as I said, love has been confused with lust. We know this because sex on the first date is so common now; there is no hush-hush to hookups anymore. It's the new normal.

Women want us to respect them as people, but they have turned themselves into walking vaginas. They're the ones who started the "pussy hat" trend, they're the ones who initiated the slut walks.

But a woman is, ideally, more than her reproductive parts -- inside her head is a brain, there supposedly is a whole person stored in there.

And since there is a person stored in there, I don't want to know chicks merely as sex objects; sexuality should be a part of you, but not the whole. I don't want to fuck, nail, bone, screw or ravage a chick; I want to have sex with a person I have a connection with, with someone I love.

And because women are now, by their own making, sex objects, I don't even want to get to know them. It's basic, it's normal. It's boring.

The connection between man and woman is impossible to create, because the person is no longer a person, just a self-created device for sex; and since the connection can't be made, the spark of love can't ignite, and so, like many other men, I just ... go my own way.
