Been dating my current girlfriend for almost two years. We've had some ups and downs, but overall, she fits my ideal better than any woman I've yet to meet. The one thing that has caused the most friction in our relationship is the fact that she has a dog, and I am allergic to dogs. We both live at home still, so 90% or more of the time I have her come over to my place because I fucking hate having my asthma flare up from her dog.

Lately, we've been thinking about getting a place together. Obviously the dog is a major issue. I'm pretty against the western medical system of treating symptoms with prescription drugs, so I've been pretty ardent about not getting a steroid inhaler or allergy shots. However, she seems worth that sacrifice, so recently I've consulted an allergist and am scheduled to start receiving allergy shots this week. Also, I found that simply taking a zyrtec an hour or so before going to her house mitigates nearly any allergic reactions.

Therefore, I've been going to her house more often so she doesn't have to leave her dog alone all day when she's at work and then my house afterwards. Her parents obviously can look after the dog, there are actually 3 other dogs and a cat that the parents own, but this dog is specifically her own. She fucking loves him like a child, and I have to admit he's pretty fucking cool. But regardless, I've been going over there more so she can spend more time with him.

However, I've noticed that since I've been more accommodating to her, she's been less intimate with me, more snarky in her comments, and just overall less feminine and charming towards me. The sex is amazing, so it's not like I'm failing to satisfy her in the bedroom. A lot of our hobbies overlap, so we spend a lot of our free time together doing fun shit around town. But since I've been being less selfish about staying at my house, I've been less selfish about other things. I've noticed a direct correlation my willingness to bend to a decrease in her sexual interests and an increase in her bitchiness. I give an inch, she takes a mile.

Tonight I was planning to sleep over for a second night in a row - something that never happens. Recently she gave me the bullshit line of "I've just been tired.. we've both been really busy." In fact, we have been busy, and by the time our nights end and we are together alone, we usually are pretty tired. However this has never stopped her before from outright requesting wanting to fuck, and it's not like I'm too tired to make it happen either. I can see through the veil. I know it's not really her fault or a conscious decision she's making. Thanks to TRP, I understand the natural tendencies inherent to male and feminine nature. I own my mistakes and how they've affected the relationship.

So tonight when I went over, I made sure to get there early. There was no excuse for being too tired or too busy. When I went to initiate, she was at the "good part" of the book she's reading. I told her to finish it up, and when she did, it was time for her to sleep apparently. I called her out on the fact that I've noticed that when I was more selfish that she was more interested in pleasing me and being overall a more charming woman. We've spoken about TRP a bit, and she gets most of it. She denied my claims about her unconsciously being less attracted to me since I've been more yielding to her wants. When she said, "That's not true," I cut her off and replied, "Whatever you say. I'll leave you to think about it," and got up and walked out to my car and drove home.

Just as I get up to my room, she calls.

Her: "I'm sorry."

Me: "Thank you."

Her: "I don't want you to feel like I don't appreciate you."

Me: "Okay."

Silence....

Her: "(sad and defeated tone) Goodnight."

Me: "Night." Hung up.

Immediately she called back.

Her: "DeltaCypher0?"

Me: "Yes?"

Her: "I love you."

Me: "I love you, too."

Silence..

Her: "(sad and defeated tone) I'll talk to you to tomorrow."

Me: "Okay." Hung up.

I learned a good lesson that reminded me to maintain frame. When I first started dating her, I kept the notion that I'm living my life and she can either join or leave. I need to remember that shit. I've got some things to think about as far as how I move forward and treat my relationship. As far as talking to her about TRP, I'm not sure if that's something that is advised in this community, but it happened. I don't read a ton of stuff on this sub or on reddit in general, so I've probably missed that part. I've introduced her to TRP Women though, and she jived with some, but not all of it. Whatever, I just wanted to share what I think is a noteworthy field report. Cheers.
