Trust me. It's no fun at all. With an ex of mine when I was a beta, I'd give her ample warning that I'd be getting drunk with an old mate days in advance and I'd "be good" around the house all week. She'd say she had no problem with me going out and to have a good time.

About 1-2 hours in the texts start. She wants to know who I'm with and where we are. Wants a photo. Asks who some random female stranger in the background is. I don't know, I haven't talked to her. She starts her miserable bullshit, accuses me of cheating, tries to ruin the night and tries to guilt me into calling it an early night and coming home. Gets angry because I stop replying and just enjoy myself. Hours go by and I finally check my phone. There's 12 messages. She tells me not to bother coming home at all. I stumble in at 2am. She's still up. She's been crying. I tell her the truth that I was with a mate drinking heavily and catching up and I just want to go to bed. She says I'm lying. I tell her she's overreacting. We stay up until 4am arguing.

The next day she apologizes. But it's never her fault... work has been stressful, she's on her period, her daddy didn't hug her enough as a kid, her last bf cheated on her, she's depressed lately, I upset her last week when I left a coffee cup on the coffee table and she hadn't said anything.... never her fault.

She promises it won't happen again. But it always does.

Dude, trust me. It is NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to get someone, especially a woman, out of your house. Most police officers won't even touch cases like these, they just refer you to the housing governing body. Even after filing out the paperwork, you can find out that they can have up to 90 days or more to get out.

Back in 2010, I was living with housemates, and one couple got in trouble and was told by the agent to leave and that they would be advertising their room. They refused to leave (the girlfriend had the idea to stay) and basically locked themselves in the room for most of the day and would only come out to eat/use the bathroom in the middle of the night when everyone else was sleeping. The guy would sneak out to get them stuff they needed while the girl would stay locked up in the room, and the agents couldn't do shit about it for 3 months after giving them notice. No one could even advertise the room or remove their belongings because then we would be in trouble.

Just live alone. It's not worth the legal horror.
