A couple of years ago me and my friends were going to a nightclub and they decided they wanted to stop by a strip club for a little bit. When we got there i was sat down, enjoying my drink, watching the free show whilst i waiting for my friends. A stripper then approached me and asked me if i wanted a dance, which i then politely declined. As she was walking away i heard her complain saying "Why even come to a strip club if you're not going to get a lap dance". I found weird that she would complain about me not wanting to pay her more than most people make in an hour just for a short lap dance but then again i let it go.

Fast forward to a few months ago i remembered the experience and i decided to post a question on the whisper app (which is an anonymous confessions app) in a group made for unpopular opinions and i explained what had happened at the strip club and i ended it by asking why she would get mad at me declining her offer for a lap dance. Little did i know that i was going to get over 100 responses from angry women (most of them were not even strippers) saying how i was in the wrong and should have given the stripper my money. They were saying things like why even go to a strip club if you don't want a lap dance and i would explain to them that i was just waiting for my friends. This answer wasn't good enough for them and they were all still very pissed. They were acting as if i owed the strippers money just for going in there although i had paid my entrance fee and was buying drinks. One of them even called me misogynistic. That goes to show you just how entitled women feel to men's money when 100s of them got so mad because i didn't give a stripper my money. And most of these women weren't even strippers
