When I was a freshman in highschool, all of us young guys in my group of friends were interested in finding girlfriends and such, as all teenage guys are. One thing that we quickly noticed though, is that we were utterly invisible to the freshman girls around us. Within a month or so of starting highschool, it became apparent nearly all the freshman girls were already dating junior or senior guys. All of us freshman guys were complaining to each other about this...and of course there was zero sympathy from any girls on this.

Fast forward to senior year...many/most of us senior guys (who used to be the girlfriendless freshman above) are now dating freshman girls, and taking them to school dances, etc, etc. Suddenly, now that we are the senior guys, now we started getting attention from freshman, sophomore, junior, and even senior girls. The senior girls now though suddenly started complaining, "god!! why are all the senior guys just dating freshman girls?? why won't they take US to the prom!". Not one ounce of recognition from the senior girls that they had a hand in creating this dynamic when they were freshman. My same group of friends who received zero sympathy from those girls 4 years prior, now had zero sympathy for them. Not to mention many of them, even at age 18, were already starting to get chubby and less attractive.

...and this dynamic continues to play out on longer timescales. In my early 20's, even immediately starting off right out of college with a great job, women my age continued to have no time for me and other guy friends my age (admittedly, we weren't Chads). But now in my mid 30's, and doing extremely well in my career after working hard all throughout my 20's, the women my age (hitting the wall head on now) SUDDENLY have the time to talk to me...except they're even chubbier and even less attractive now. Funny how that works.

Have been lurking in this subreddit for a while, and have found TRP and MGTOW extremely enlightening. I just wish I had had some TRP awareness at that younger age, which would have avoided a lot of stress/confusion (I was completely blue-pilled). At a minimum, to be able to anticipate the fact that average male SMV is rock bottom as a teenager but steadily rises into your 30's and beyond, just when average female SMV is tanking...just to be able to plan for this inevitable cross-over, and calmly focus on your self & career in the mean time, and not give any concern to women your own age freaking out about their early peaking SMV.
