We had this huge debate with the MRA in Youtube about 7 years ago.

The consensus is, you can't technically call yourself MGTOW if you're married, because being married means you are legally shackled by the system that continue to support that system.

Having said that, you can be a MGTOW supporter.

You're married. Best advice is to hope for the best, plan for the worst. You've seen the statistical and anecdotal gore here enough to know they're not isolated incidents.

Find yourself a safe place. Keep copies of every piece of paper you'll need in the event of a divorce. If you share a bank account, watch it like a hawk. Look for the siphoning of small amounts (or large amounts). It's not paranoid to do due diligence.

I'll answer that question with another and that is, does your wife allow you to do what, when, where, how, why anytime you want it?

It's a catch 22 situation you see. If you say no then obliviously it's impossible for you to be a MGTOW. On the other hand, if you say yes, then she needs you not and will soon dispose of you, however, you are a true MGTOW.
