BTW: as far as "checking" goes I'm a bit divided. From one side this is insecurity ("i NEED to know") and mateguarding but on the other side - I really would like to know if my LTR/LTR candidate is honest or just at covering her tracks.

They all cheat. Get used to it. Even Elon Musk is not safe why should you be different.

If you always punished bad behaviour consequently and overtly state that so much as a kiss is cheating therefor inexcuseable and mandatory grounds for a break up for you, you will be able to reduce the risk because she will not be tempted so easily.

Sidenote: While most men lack the opportunities to cheat they still have a moral code ie the hamster is not used to marathons. Women as long as they are fertile have opportunities and a hamster which is used to running miles.

This is where the line: it was just sex and it is somehow your fault too comes from.

First problem is that you're not coming from a place of abundance. You're operating on the premise that you need a woman, and that a woman's actions dictate your emotional well-being. This premise weakens you and gives power over you to the women you are with. Stop defining yourself through this weakness, and you will be far less likely to get cheated on. Strength will garner loyalty, weakness will garner disdain. If she has disdain for you, she might stay with you for the time being, but she won't have respect or loyalty for you.

Instead, come from a place of confidence, abundance and self-contentment. These things are far more attractive to women than needy weakness. If you are rock-solid in your ability to generate your own value, confidence and happiness, you are overall better off and you are far more attractive to women.

Understand that all people are biological beings that are subject to primal drives. Nobody is able to curb their primal desires in every situation. If the right person approaches her at the right time, she will cheat. The same goes for you. Social conditioning makes this hard to accept emotionally, but once you do you will be better off.

It's very simple, this is a 2 way street. It's the same with you AND any woman you are with. If they are going to cheat, then they are going to cheat. You can't be there 24/7 watching their every move (I mean why would you) and if that's what their intentions are then that's that. Same goes for you, if you are in relationship and end up chatting up another woman and score why did you do it? Because it was your intention to. Understand your value and realize that in the end if things went south it was because of you, or I mean the woman was a complete slut to begin with but you get the idea.

You are scared of women cheating on you (and the rest of those weak emotions ) because you're getting some kind of ego based validation or emotional support from them. This will lose their respect and make you much likely to get cheated on and dumped. The solution is to fix this. Get more male friends for support. Your woman should be your lover, not your friend. Continue on your current path (like I did) and you'll end up miserable.

You cannot prevent cheating. Unless the girls brain is the size of my left nut, she won't like a guy on Instagram that fucked her in the ass. You can't keep tabs on her every second.

Another thing you need to do is stop making a LTR your number 1 priority in your life. I mean it. You need to keep doing other things in a relationship. Hike alone, go out with your bros, etc. you need to keep doing these things. Work out, etc.

Increase your own value to the point that you can replace a woman at any time -- even a wife. Increase your value to the point that cheating for you becomes an option, and whether or not you exercise it is up to you.

To me this sounds like a low self esteem. You valued this girl more than you valued yourself. You need to get to the point that you realize that it would be her loss to leave you. Work on yourself and raise your smv enough so that you become the prize instead. You won't worry about her cheating on you because you could replace her without worrying. This keeps you from being clingy and needy. It makes you more attractive. So build yourself up and gain the confidence to not worry about that anymore

All TRP theory aside, what the fuck? You were spying on your partner's private correspondence? Yeah, that's not healthy and I'd even suggest it's a major red flag, mark of low self-esteem, and a DLV.

Stop obsessing over things you cannot control. Stop trying to control things you cannot control. Allow others to make mistakes, then punish them accordingly. Not the other way around. If your partner wants to cheat, she will cheat. Show you're jealous - you've already lost.

But I'm also scared of getting cheated on, it's probably my biggest fear in life. Even if I knew my ex of over a year was having sex with someone else I would still feel cheated on, this shit is deliberating.

Yeah, I can imagine. You've gotta sort it out, and I suggest doing that before you get yourself into another LTR. Otherwise it's gonna be same thing in no time.

Your inner game sucks. Work on improving it.

Understand why you fear being cheated on. Eliminate that fear. Raise your self-esteem.
