I speak for myself here when I say that I want to be free. Free from the state-enforced reigns of marriage/cohabitation, free from being entrapped in a relationship which translates to shunning women/dating.

In order to be able to do so, you must forgo your biological urges. If women remain the only outlet of sexual energy, then we will find ourselves crawling back to the plantation.

This is where porn plays its part to show us an option. Porn keeps us away from women long enough to make us realise and remind that the reward is not worth it.

Porn is however extremely addictive. Any addiction is similar to the slavery which we all want to free ourselves from. Eventually you will give up looking at porn as well, that even the pictures of women will not have any power over you. This stage comes subsequent to internalizing the MGTOW ideology, but is as essential as the red pill rage phase.

Indulging in pornography makes men more socially awkward, prone to anxiety , nervousness and not driven and lethargic. believe me it is very easy to dominate and manipulate such a person. And we all know that manipulation is something which women excell at. This kind of person also finds it hard to hold his own in a group of men. Giving up porn makes a man self assured, anxiety disappears and he is driven to achieve good things for himself. Now if such a man shuns women, they just don't know what to do. They can't treat him like a wimp because he is too strong for that. They can't manipulate him because he is strong, sees through their game and actually has an aura of magnetism about him too. So this kind of a man is actually truly free of the women's manipulative games. They hate that he shuns them but can't really badmouth him because he is magnetic and also has a high social value or atleast does not have a low social value.

me, I am both. I see the merits in porn while seeing beyond it to true freedom.

in my experience It's the pro porn people (who are addicts) that will fight you tooth-and-nail and hamster-bate over the theory and usefulness of giving up porn.

Porn saved my life - I was able to escape not ONE, but THREE bad relationships by having NO SPERM LEFT FOR HER TO TRAP ME WITH. Sorry, me no wantee sex - All gone!

And this was the 15kps porn days.

I was out of Jizz, and had no female sex fog to cloud me up - So all I saw was the BULLSHIT and SHITTY DAY TO DAY LIFE of being with those chicks.

At the same time, now that I am single, That shit makes me foogy, drowsy, sleepy, hungry, less personable, less magnetized (a thing) and less logically/long-term thought oriented. Less focused and less alive.

It's a poison whether you do it with a woman or not.

The oddest feeling? When doing it with HOOKAS who didn't try to mind-rape me afterwards or emotionally destroy me, I felt 1,000 times better than any relationship sex I had - because she wasn't laying me as a prelude to trying to sap my life force over the next 10-20 years.

She just fucked me well and let me go (for a nominal fee).

That, felt FABULOUS.

So women ARE capable of making you feel good, and making it stick, MOST of them JUST Won't FUCKING DO IT. (Some you just gotta pay em for it ;-)

TLDR; I find Porn AND No-fap to be two opposing religions. And you all know about religious people and their flying spaghetti monster. THEY DONT NEED NO PROOF - it feels good to them (either side) ,AND D'ELL KILL YA FER TALKING BLAS FOR ME AGINNY THEIR GUD'.

Except..one side can actually show proof of a better life after worship.

I say, if you can't give up porn for 30 days then you have a fucking problem and need to exercise discipline.

If after 30 days you don't experience the following:

1) you had more energy to accomplish your goals / felt better in general

2) More control over your sexual urges. You will actually enter a flatline, you won't seek women out, that has been my experience. In fact, most of the time you just want to ignore them.

3) You don't feel a pull to have to jerk it to a porno (as in obsessed)

4) you already have most of your shit together: exercise, handle everything at work, eat healthy, not addicted to any hardcore drugs, already have a strong social network

Then I think it won't offer you anything special and go on with your jacking off habit.

By you asking this to a sub of people that in general, don't give a flying fuck to tell you how you should live your life should tell you that YOU actually think it's an issue more than any of us here. You are looking for some type of validation or confirmation of your behavior. This is slightly not your fault since we've been indoctrinated "P0rn will make u go blind!!!1111" especially since the Antifap Cuckistanis got a stronghold.

Or, you are worried it is taking up too much of your life and now your existence has been reduced to fapping in front of a screen for hours on end.
