Alright, let's get this straight.

This woman had a boyfriend, both each other's first love. Boyfriend develops a drinking problem and, like most couples, they have their share of fights.

Now, he's clearly suffering and struggling inside, and her response to this was to bury her nose in the books, place her head deep in the sand and act as though her studies were the only thing she needed to tend to. After realizing that the mother of his child was not responding to his attempts at confiding in a loved one, he kills himself because the combined pain of isolation and drug addiction was too much to bear without support that she could have sent his way.

She's a selfish, heartless cunt and should absolutely be ashamed of herself.

My latest ex-girlfriend did nothing to support me when I was heading towards a severe depression, she just gave me time to get things back together because she couldn't deal with it. Didn't give a shit when I told her that I needed her. I only got support from my brother and male friends, checking regularly on me and encouraging me to keep doing sports and join activities. After our son was born we began to have problems because he wanted us to get our own place and live together. I didn't want to move in because we would barely be making ends meet and I'm still in college.

Can someone please explain this logic to me? How would moving in together make it more difficult to "make ends meet"? I'm no genius, but i think being in the same house would likely reduce the financial burden.

What I can't seem to wrap my head around is how EVERYONE is saying it's not her fault and he's the one who decided to become an addict. The chick LITERALLY (LITERALLY) fucks this guys life up by telling him that he basically can't be a part of their life because college is so fucking important when they probably did everything together before then. I just don't get it. The guy was so close to getting his family that they talked about in highschool, and then shes all NAH, let's try and make it on our own. IT'S TOO FUCKING LATE.
